About Us

Pat Bethke, MAEd

Pat has a Master of Arts in Education, Instructional Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and Family Life.  She is a former Early Childhood Educator from ISD 194 Lakeville Public Schools, and is a Certified Advanced Nurtured Heart Approach® Trainer, Educator, and Coach.

 

Pat is the parent of four adult children and has extensive knowledge and skill working with both children and young adults.  Her strengths lie in her ability to create success in the lives of challenging children and adolescents in crisis.

 

As an educator and coach, Pat uses her knowledge and proficiency in instructing parents and teachers in Nurtured Heart strategies.  She provides one-on-one guidance and training to assist parents in building successful family relationships.  She collaborates with teachers to develop positive classroom management skills to create connected classrooms. 

 

Pat presents Nurtured Heart seminars to educators and parents in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul and regional area.  She's been a featured presenter at numerous symposiums including the Nurtured Heart Global Summit, MnAEYC, and SORLA, an initiative of seven Minnesota school districts which provide professional development training to educators. 


Pat was a Review Committee Member for the Children's Success Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization dedicated to bringing the Nurtured Heart Approach to communities around the world.  Several of her classroom stories are published in Howard Glasser's book for educators, Notching Up the Nurtured Heart Approach.

 

She lives in Lakeville, MN with her husband Tim.
